As your healthcare team Grand River Medical Group has continued to ensure your safety by making many necessary changes during this pandemic. COVID-19 has had an impact on all of us, but we want to let you know that we are here and remain available for you and your healthcare needs. Although many changes have occurred over the past month, you are still our top priority.

We have continued to increase our infection control standards in all clinic locations. This includes increased sanitization of commonly touched surfaces, screening all patients and staff at the door, spreading the waiting room chairs out and asking that patients who feel sick call before coming into the clinic. Ensuring your safety when coming into our clinics for an appointment, lab, or imaging/radiology exam is important to us. We are also asking that if you can - please wear a cloth face covering into the office for your appointment and continue to limit visitors to essential visitors only, helping to reduce the amount of people in our clinics.

Our Respiratory Clinic is available to patients experiencing respiratory symptoms like, fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, or are experiencing shortness of breath, body aches, headache, chills or fatigue. Contact your primary care providers office to discuss your symptoms and see if an appointment at our Respiratory Clinic is right for you. Our Respiratory Clinic is open Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.

We also have a triage team available to assist all patients Monday - Friday from 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This team of nurses and providers can assist you with answers to your health questions, scheduling an appointment at our respiratory clinic, getting you set up for a telehealth visit with your primary/specialty care provider, or help you with an acute related concern with a virtual visit. If you had to cancel or reschedule your appointment with your primary or specialty care provider give our office a call to set up a telehealth visit! A telehealth visit allows your provider to check in with you while you remain in the comfort and safety of your own home. Telehealth visits are available Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. with some providers offering telehealth visits until 5:00 p.m., contact your primary or specialty care providers office to schedule.

As always, our office is here and ready to address your health care needs. We encourage you to do what you can to stay healthy- most importantly wash your hands regularly for a minimum of 20 seconds with soap and water, keep your distance from others, and eliminate any unnecessary trips outside the home.
